Thanks to advancements in drone technology, kids can now be involved in all the fun. Interestingly enough, kids camera drones offer a wide variety of benefits.

For example, flying a drone improves their hand-eye coordination, encourages multiple fine motor skills, and motivates them to get outside. The cost of drones has continued to come down, as well, making them more affordable than ever.

Even the most high-tech, heavily featured drones have become budget-friendly. The AA108 and the 818 Hornet are prime examples of best kids camera drones that are both affordable, easy for kids to get the hang of within minutes, and include cameras for aerial photography and videography.

AA108

The AA108 offers simple yet effective features that all drones should have. It comes with Headless Mode, Altitude Hold, 1-Button Takeoff, and 1-Button Landing.

These features also make it possible to fly indoors, as well. Using the FlyingSee application on your smartphone, you can gain access to Custom Route Mode for hands-free flight. All you have to do is draw a flight path using your finger on your smartphone’s screen and the AA108 will follow it.

The Advanced Remote Control offers an Out of Range Alarm, an Emergency Landing function, and a Low Battery Alarm, all features and functions that keep your drone safe and you informed of how much battery is left, when you’re about to go out of range, etc.

The 120-degree wide-angle 720p HD camera is capable of taking photos, recording videos, and even real-time FPV, which can be done using your smartphone and the app.

The AA108 has a total flight time of up to 7 minutes, but it comes with a second bonus battery for free. There are multiple flight skill levels that help you learn and grow with the drone at your own pace.

The flight skill levels are 1 for kids and beginner users, 2 for mid-level and familiar users, and 3 for advanced and expert users.

The price is more than affordable for anyone’s budget, only costing approximately $110, making it a perfect option where kids camera drones for beginner to expert drone users are concerned.
